NTSE (National Talent Search Exam) is conducted every year by NCERT to provide scholarships to the deserving candidates. The exam is conducted in the two stages, through which approx 1000 students are chosen for the scholarship program.
Eligibility for both the stage vary,
Eligibility For NTSE stage I :-
You can apply for NTSE in the last week of September. Separate application forms are filled for both the stages. You have to download the form from the official website of NCERT and fill it offline, you can also access the form from the office of Liaison Officer.

Eligibility For NTSE stage I :-
- Only 10th class students can apply from a State or Union Territory recognized school.
- Candidate must have scored minimum 60% marks in 9th grade. ( 55% for SC/ST/PH)
- Upper age limit for giving NTSE is 18 years.
- Candidate must have scored minimum 80% marks in NTSE stage I to be eligible for stage II
