Hey,
Supply Chain Management simply consists of all the individuals who contribute  in creating a product from raw materials to finished marchendise.Supply Chain Management helps in efficient supply of products to customers at reasonable price thus ensuring the satisfaction of customers and therefore determines the success of a firm.
The basic eligibility criteria is having a Bachelor's degree in business or relevant field and certification is required for those interested in advancement and sometimes you need Masters degree to advance to management positions in this field.CPSM,CPIM and CSCP are best of all the certifications.
A supply chain manager keeps a track on company's overall supply chain and logistics strategy and operations in order to maximise the process and productivity.
You can go for MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management which will equip you with all the relevant knowledge and practices of Supply Chain Management  and start working with a firm which involves flow of goods from manufacturer to customers.
