I'm a student of diploma in polytechnic from mechanical branch im in th final year n i want to do b tech lateral entry which college should i prefer which would be not so costly but provide a better package n placement

hi,

after diploma in mechanical engineering you may choose following streams for btech lateral entry admission,

mechanical engineering

production engineering

mechatronics engineering

automobile engineering

now You should know that nits and iits has no lateral entry scheme for diploma candidates, you may go for state government engineering colleges and most of the colleges has option for lateral entry admission, you need to also appear in jelet, bihar leet entrance test, like state wise lateral entry exam test to get admission.
