Hi there,

There is no specific code for candidates who dropped in B.sc second year.Hence you can write qualifying code as 2 which is for droppers.

Code 2:

Code 2 is for candidates who are droppers and have passed their 10+2 /higher/senior secondary examination with English, physics, chemistry and biology/biotechnology.

Code 6:

Code 6 is for candidates who have completed their b.sc course hence you can not write code 6.

So your qualifying code should be 2.

Hope this information will help you.

Hi,

If you have a BSc with topics like physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology, as your core subjects and you passed these subjects in the first year, including the practicals, you must enter code 5.

If you have a BSc with some other topics, like home science, environmental science, etc or any other field apart from basic sciences you will be classified as a dropper and must use code 2.

If you have passed your 1st year of UG with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology inclusion of practical tests, then you can use the code 5. Else, you have to use the code 2 which is essentially for the droppers.

If you complete your BSc with examination with not less than two subjects which includes Biology/Biotechnology, Physics and Chemistry then you can use the code 6.
