Hello student,

For joining ISRO, you can even join with a degree in Electrical Engineering. However, as you suggest, you are not interested in the field. So, you can opt for either of the options from IT or Electronics Engineering. In ISRO, an IT Engineer would have to develop programs for machine learning and automation in outerspace whereas being an Electronics Engineer, you may have to develop effective circuits and sensors for outerspace exploration. Now you can decide what suits you the best.

I hope this helps, All the Best!
