im studying 12th.did i need to write jee for the entrance of mechanical engg. if not pls tell me which exam is preferred for mechanical engg

Hi Aspirant,
If you want to join NIT,IIT,IIIT or any other centrally funded government engineering college,then jee mains is necessary.
If not,then it is not.
For other colleges, you need to find out which college admits students from which exam.
