Which government polytechnic institute do you wish to know about? Because there are several all across the country.

Also each year has two semesters. So whichever course you are applying, just multiply by 2 and that will be the number of semesters. Each semester has roughly 4-6 subjects respectively and placements are highly dependent on the institution and your all over performance.
