Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. It also depends on the no.of seats available. If the no.of seats available are higher then the cut offs are lesser and vice versa. Now the students not able to utilise the extended 5 months period cannot be attributed to pandemic. They had 5 months longer than usual time to prepare from the comforts of their houses. There might be other reasons as to why Candidates couldnt utilize their time. They might be distraction, lack of interest, etc. But there have been Candidates who utilised this time.
