Dear Aspirant,
It is quite hard to predict how much drop you'll face in your rank as the best percentile will be taken after the attempts and then rank will be provided. So, we can say that there could be a drop of about 1- 2 k but it depends on how the question paper of next sessions are and how well the students are performing. If you have a really good percentile in math then the drop might be lower. The preference for rank after math percentile is given to physics followed by chemistry. Though, this might not create a lot of difference it could be a matter of 200 rank difference. Hence, to be safe assume that you have a chance of getting 2k rank lower than expected.
