If there is score difference then accuracy does not matter high scorer will always get a high percentile than the one with low marks. Greater the difference between the marks of the two students greater will be the difference in the percentile of the two students.
In short if the marks are high you will always get higher percentile irrespective of the accuracy. It's an exam if speed with accuracy. You can't only attempt less question with 100% accuracy because less marks won't fetch you high percentile. You need to do maximum questions with maximum accuracy in the given time to get maximum marks and percentile.
