You can see that population of India is growing day by day and diseases are also growing by different microorganisms around us thus microbiology has more score in developing countries like India.If you go into research field in microbiology there is a lot of scope, you can become a healthcare scientist after that.
Also not even in India there is a lot of scope in other countries like UK where you can work for the NHS.
