Hello Praveen

In class 12th , 33% marks of the total marks are required for passing each subject and overall 12th grade.

Other than that colleges also have different requirements for board marks for examples in some engineering colleges 75% marks in board are required for admission while in others 60% marks are required.

Colleges like Delhi University admits students on their board marks cutoffs which sometimes go very high.

Hello,

You didn't mentioned the stream in class 12th you are asking about

However for Science,

The eligibility marks of class 12th is different for different entrance exams.

For JEE Mains you need to score 75% Aggregate in 5 Subjects.

For State Entrance Exams like UPSEE/MAHCET you need to score 45% aggregate Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics

For Most of the Private Engineering colleges  you need to have 50-60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Maths.

So, in class 12th an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics is good.

For Commerce and Humanities stream, an aggregate of 80% or  above  in 5 subjects is good.

Hope this was helpful.
