In clat entrance exam for calculating the aggregate percent are optional subject taken into consideration?

Hey.

As per the eligibility criteria laid out for CLAT you need to score a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in your 12th boards to be eligible if you belong to the general category. In calculating your aggregate you just need to add the marks of your Main 5 subjects. You do not need to add the marks of your additional/optional subjects other than your main 5.

If we want to add the additional subject, can we? If I've scored more in additional one than in main eg: Chemistry

I guess you can, because mostly the best of 5 marks is considered to calculate the aggregate. Though their is no specific mention of the same on their website. But other than this you shoud have passed in the other subject you leave out in calculation of aggregate.
