In councelling which nit college for me with rank wise if my marks in jee main 2018 is 87 but cut off of jee main is 74 for general category

For getting in NIT your mark should be double of category cutoffs marks especially when you require core branch in good NITs

Some relaxation is given on marks on basis of home state

Seriously there is no chance of getting NIT in any core or non core branch

Yes you will get good government state engineering colleges.
