As per the provisions, there are only female nurses in the Indian Army. This job is particularly only for females. The selection is done by the Military Nursing Services examination for female candidates after class 12. The qualified candidates of written examination are then taken for interview and medical. There is also direct recruitment for the female candidates who had already completed their B.sc Nursing. So, this job is only for females as of now.

Basic educatiom requirememt fot indian army nursing is b.sc nursing, it is nothing to do with gender of a candidate. So matter what you are boy ot girl, but if you have b.sc nursing degree, then you can apply and get a jon in Indian army nursing and serve in Indian army.
