Hello student,

The National Testing Agency has created a reservation policy that applies to all applicants who are eligible for this category. PwD students would be given a 5% reserve on the number of places available in medical institutions. Candidates will be required to satisfy specific qualifications and follow NTA's rules and regulations in order to be considered for the quota.

The following are the NTA regulations regarding the PwD reserve quota:-

  • Candidates with a minimum degree of impairment of 40% or higher will be eligible for the quota.
  • Candidates must have a "Certificate of Disability," which must be provided in line with the 2017 Rules on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
  • The “Guidelines for the purpose of assessing the amount of specified disability in a person covered under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (49 of 2016)” should be used to determine the degree of the “specific disability.”
  • To be eligible for the 5% PwD reservation, the “Certificate of Disability” must be completed at one of the 12 authorised centres using the format given by NTA for NEET PwD Reservation.

So , in your case there is no reservation .

Dear Aspirant
Any Candidate to be considered under disability category he/she should have visual locomotor disabilities that impair his/her daily life. Single kidney is not a disability most people born with this condition live a normal and happy life this condition is called renal agenesis disability is something that create hindrance in normal living of person . So this do not come under disability so no reservation is there for such category.
Good luck.

Hope it helps
