Mostly out of 45 questions,30 to 38 questions will be problems and the rest will be theory based questions. So it would be better if you concentrate on problems if you want to score good.If you find problems difficult it is not a big deal.you can concentrate on other subjects and score well.

Usually theory questions are not more than 5 as mentioned in earlier answers. I would like to add that usually 1 from mechanics, 1 from electrostatics, 1 from magnetics and 1 from wave theories are asked. The scope of asking theory questions on above topics is huge so these topics are preferred.

Only 5-6 questions are theory based .

But ofcourse to solve calculation based questions your concepts shoulf be clear.

You need not mug up a few useless facts but otherwise everypart of theory in physics would be useful to solve questions.

So be clear in your concepts so that you can solve maximum questions

All the very best

I hope it helps

Mostly 4 to 5 but i would suggest you to focus on the theory mostly as it would help you to answer all the questions logically.Mostly the numericals are based on the basics so it is important to consolidate on the basics.

Only 5-10 questions will be theory based
