Hi Jayant,

The uplink and downlink frequency range varies feom satellite to satellite.

Here I am listing down some of them:-

  • Satcomm: C-Band : Uplink - 6 GHz, Downlink - 4 GHz
  • Ku Band: Uplink - 14 GHz, Downlink - 12 GHz
  • Mobcomm: GSM-900: Uplink - 890-915 MHz, Downlink - 935-960 MHz
  • GSM-1800: Uplink - 1710-1785 MHz, Downlink - 1805-1880 MHz

Your question is quite unclear. But, if you are asking about uplink frequency, then let me tell you that it is the frequency which is used to  transmit signals from Earth station transmitter to Satellite. The radiospectrum used is around 1Ghz to 300Ghz.
