Hello Lavanya,

What course are you applying for, and in which college? Are you applying for an internship/scholarship otherwise? The filling procedures differ, so please share with us a few more details like name of the course for us to help you.

In general, the semesters are taken in chronological order for marks, starting from 1, then sem 2, going up to sem 6/8. The highest focus generally is on the last sem before applying.

To obtain an average, just divide your total marks by the number of semesters. For obtaining CGPA, you most have to do the same, and to get percentage from there, multiply by 9.5 or 10 depending on your college rules which you will generally find on your website.
