Hello,

There is no specific or unique way of preparation for  students preparing for JEE mains whether you are dropper or appearing. The most important thing is that you should be motivated and should be consistent each day and every day.Dedication is the key along with hard/smart work, discipline, patience and perseverance.
Marks the syllabus and prepare accordingly.
Divide time equally or based on your strength and weakness in all the three subjects.
Practice and Revision should be followed.
Work on your weak areas polish you strength.
Focus even on easy topics and don't let amy stone unturned.
Go through past year question papers and solve them with timer as this will give you the habit and mindset of solving exam papers.
Take care of your health with proper food and sleep
Cut away fro social media or any kind of distractions.Stay away from negative people and spend quality time with people who motivates you.

I hope this helps.

Hey there

You have ample time left start preparing now. See there are 3 subjects

1. Physics

2. Chemistry

3. Maths

The most scoring subjects though it can vary from person to person is chemistry so do not take it easy give time to this subject.

Physics is considered tough in jee mains try solving HC Verma.

For maths RD SHARMA, NCERT and some coaching materials will be enough.

Hi

Follow the below mentioned tips in your drop year :-

  • In your drop year try to complete the whole syllabus of JEE examination at least two or three months before the examination so that you can keep them for revision and practice of questions . While studying chapters your major focus should be on clearing concepts as concepts are the basis of solving numericals and MCQs asked in JEE.

Some of the top books which you can follow for the preparation of your JEE examination in your drop year is provided below:-

Physics:

  • Concepts of physics Vol I and II by HC Verma
  • Problems in General Physics by I.E Irodov
  • Objective questions on physics by DC Pandey

Mathematics:

  • Maths XI and XII by RD Sharma
  • Complete mathematics for JEE Main TMH
  • New pattern mathematics for JEE mains/advanced by Arihant publications

CHEMISTRY:-

  • Ncert Chemistry for class XI and XII
  • Physical Chemistry by OP Tondon
  • Numerical Chemistry by P.Bahadur
  • Organic chemistry by OP Tondon

Make a routine or a time table and try to give at least 8 hours to studies and out of that 8 hours you need to devote at least 4 hours in solving numericals and mcqs

Revise :- there's no point of preparing for the exam if you couldn't recall anything in the examination hall, so you should stress on revision as well.

Solve previous year question papers and mock test papers ;- You should solve these , it will give you idea of types of questions asked and their difficulty level and will help you a lot.

And don't worry if you remain honest towards your studies in your drop year , you will not crack only JEE mains but can crack even JEE advance and make it to IITs

Thankyou
