For the year 2022, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has removed the minimum 75% criteria from the eligibility criteria. NTA has announced the revised JEE Main 2022 date at the official website. JEE Mains 2022 exam will be conducted on June 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, and 29 for session 1. The candidates can download JEE Main 2022 hall ticket tentatively in the second week of June 2022. Keep an eye on the official website or the link below for the latest information.

75% criteria is not there in jee main, it is only for NITs etc but for 2022 even for NITs etc it's not there .

Jee main eligibility criteria is given below-
---------------------------) Qualification required :- to be eligible for JEE mains you need 10+2/equivalent qualification from a recognised board.

Required Criteria based on Class 12th or equivalent
B.E/B.Tech
Passed qualifying examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of :-
----)Chemistry
-----)Biotechnology
-----)Biology
----) Technical Vocational subject.
B.Arch
Passed qualifying examination with

-----)Physics,
------) Chemistry
To be eligible for B. Arch , you have at least 50% in aggregate of Physics, chemistry and Maths and also 50 % in overall in 12th/equivalent
B.Planning
Passed qualifying examination with Mathematics
You must have at least 50% marks in Maths in 12th and also 50% in 12th /equivalent overall.
-------------------------) Passing year :- one is eligible for JEE main examination for consecutive three years starting from the year of appearing for 12th /equivalent examination i. e to be eligible for JEE mains 2022 you should be either appearing for 12th board exam or equivalent in 2022 or should have passed it in 2021 or 2020
-------------------------) There is no age limit to be eligible
-------------------------) there is no minimum percentage requirement to be eligible for JEE Main for BE /Btech.
But yes,
To be eligible for BE/BTech in NITs, IIITs, CFTIs one needs at least 75% marks in class 12th if belongs to General or OBC category or at least 65% marks in class 12th if belongs to Sc or St category or needs to be in top 20 percentile of their board examination.
IMPORTANT NOTE :- This minimum percentage barrier of 75 % - 65% for NITs, IIITs, CFTIs has been lifted off for jee main 2022 . It means to be eligible all you need to be eligible is to have at least passed 12th .
