Is a candidate of wbjee allowed to opt for a lower choice in second round if he got seat of higher choice in first round?

Hello Arijit, looks like you have qualified for the wbjee counselling, firstly congratulation for that. And now as per your question surely you can do that if you got seat in earliar in second round surely you can let it go for the lower choice. Hope this helps!!!

Hi Arijit,

See the biggest thing to keep in mind while filling the choices before counselling is the order of preference. You have to be sure about that and then lock them. So if you end up getting a high preference seat through counselling procedure than according to them they have provided you with the best seat but since you filled it in the wrong order you'll have to suffer, and that lower precedence seat that you wanted will no longer be in your reach unless you end up participating in the spot round.
