In order to be eligible for NITs/IIITs/IITs and CFTIs you need to have 75% marks in your board exam or you should be in top 20 percentile.

You can appear in JEE Main to take admission in other colleges as there will be only one entrance exam to take admission in engineering programs except IITs.
