I would say, yes because Agriculture Engineering is a technologically sophisticated field that offers bright career as good number of Govt jobs are available for B.E/B.Tech in agricultural as candidates can join land officer post in Agriculture Departments of different State Governments. Apart from this, you can try in Food Department, Research Departments, Dairy Boards (State wise), Coir Board etc and if you talk about the private sector then you may get job in fertilizer firms, research and development firms, agriculture machinery manufacturing firms, food products processing and manufacturing firms etc.

And you can also go for teaching sector after complete M.E/M.Tech in this branch and R &D sector will also be there for you.

Also, placement record depends college to college so please share is there any particular college/institute from where you wish to pursue your course.
