Dear Shivani

The difficulty comes when one is not well prepared, unfocused, bad management of time, missing your weak point for any thing.

By looking your neet marks, they are good but not enough to land you in good government colleges.

If you are only aiming for AIIMS for MBBS, where you require not to only the mugging up the formulas but understading the logical reasoning which requires the knowledge of core concepts about the particular topic and you have to also focus for latest news and things in general knowledge.

As for the self study, I think you can manage AIIMS but it also depends on your timing, ability to do hard and smart work (planning, expected questions based on previous year etc.). If you are sure enough then only go for self study or else I would advise you to go for coaching (if you could afford) where they provide amount of question, guidance, inner competion etc as AIIMS have very limited seats and to get into goo AIIMS (Delhi, Jodhpur, Bhopal), you need to come in under 700 rank.

Hope this helps you.

Hi

Yes, AIIMS is certainly way tougher than NEET. For that you must join a coaching Institute. They will guide you more. With 495 this year in NEET, you can score better through self study next year but for AIIMS it is not applicable. You must join a coaching Institute.

Best of Luck.

Hope this helps.

Cheers!

YYes definitely you can get it. If you have your concepts right in physics and chemistry and know the ncert really well for biology, you can clear it easily. I know people who got 450 , dropped a year and then got 615 in NEET and also Aiims Bhubaneswar. So, you stand very good chances. All the best!
