Out of the 40 MCQ, nearly 30- 35 questions are asked from the topics which are contained in the NCERT textbook.

Diagrams present in NCERT are needed to be given special emphasis. There are atleast 2 to 3 diagram based questions asked in AIIMS examination, and the diagrams are exactly taken from NCERT.

Assertion and Reason type of questions are also mostly asked from the NCERT textbook. You just have to read carefully, and try to find the reason of every statement while preparing, which will reduce the possibility of getting confused between 1st and 2nd option.
