Dear Rajesh

Inorder to write the GATE EXAMINATION there is a particular area and syllabus for every branch of engineering. Since CSE and IT are the non core branches of engineering so there will be a separate paper for these branches in GATE examination.
So overall there will be a separate set of paper for CSE and IT branch student. A CSE branch student can't be able to write the GATE examination through IT domain.

All the best

Dear Rajesh

Rajesh GATE paper has two different subset i.e CSE and IT and both the papers of these two subsets will be different. So overall the degree in which you have done your UG (CSE) you are requested to fill that option only.
