TCS is definitely India’s one of the best IT firms. So, any course that they introduce will be high in demand and very specific to the latest trends.

So, from placements point of view this is a great course and surely you can sit for interviews of all companies and will be way ahead of other candidates.

However, if you have plans for sitting in GATE, ISRO, DRDO, BARC or any government exams or maybe planning for higher studies, the syllabus is very important. All of them gives a lot of importance to the theory papers of the traditional CSE course. You might face difficulties in adapting to them if enrolled for CSBS. For EU countries, you may never apply for Masters because you don't meet the course requirements related to your UG syllabus and credit points.

I tried to highlight both the aspects. It depends on what you are planning for future.
