Yes, EWS stands for economically weaker sections. So you have to give income certificate during your counselling to get tution fee wavier. After admission you can use the same to appy for scholarships.
This is a reservation quota in JEE main which helps to lower your rank according to the specifications by NTA.

I have ews certificate and i was refused to get income and the mentioned me that ews is behalf of income certificate...
Now... the main problem that what i am facing in college is that i am not able to submit ews in jnanabhumi.co.in official website
