Hi Srijith, for doing an MS in mechanical in germany, most of the colleges ask for a mandatory language proficiency exam which is nothing but IELTS/TOEFL scores. Most of the colleges in Germany ask for IELTS score. It is not mandatory to write GRE, but it is to take IELTS or TOEFL. A score of 7+ in IELTS or a score of 90+ in TOEFL is required for most of the colleges. A graduation criteria is set wherein you need to have minimum of 70% or 7.5 which is a mandatory criteria.
