SNU Kolkata offers separate on-campus hostels for both boys and girls. These hostels are well-maintained, secure, and include basic amenities like Wi-Fi, study tables, and mess services. They provide options for AC and non-AC rooms.

However, staying in the hostel is not mandatory. Even first-year students are allowed to stay off-campus if they prefer, and there’s no strict rule enforcing hostel residence. Many students choose to live in rented flats or PGs nearby and commute to college.

Hello

Hostel is not mandatory at Sister Nivedita University (SNU), Kolkata. Students can choose to stay in the hostel or make their own accommodation arrangements. The university provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls with various amenities. It depends entirely on the student's preference and convenience
