Is IITH is good for research in MTech (Mettalurgical Engg) i.e. PHD ? What are chances for placements for M Tech Metlurgy students ?

Since IITH is new and the branch you are talking about is metallurgy there are no 100 percent chances of placements. But since it is an iit you may apply for any off campus but make sure for the in campus first. Hope it helps. Any queries are welcomed in the comments below.
