Hello,

Petroleum Engineering has a very good scope in India and also abroad, the average salary of a petroleum engineer in India is approximately 6,99,000 per year.

The job titles those a petroleum engineer can get are:

1. Offshore drilling engineer

2. Drilling engineer

3. Production engineer

4. Chief petroleum engineer

so many are saying that petroleum engineer who came from aa NITS and iits have scope and it is not very benefiabel for aa general private (demmed University) student ,is it true .....what did you say about this

Every Stream is good if you're willling to study about that. If you are interested then every stream has there beautiful outcome. It's not like only CS & IT are the best every stream has there own beauty & petroleum engineering is also kind of unique in it's own way.
