Is it fine to do polytechnic after 12th on the basis on class 10. And if I want to do it is there any off for the class 12th student.

Overall, it's more advantageous for you because the first year of polytechnic is basically an extended amalgamation of what you learnt in Class 12 science course.
But it also has a few drawbacks, because you might have to realign all that you learnt, as polytechnic diploma is a little skewed and individualistic and specialisation is another factor.
.overall do apply and do go through the course. The job placements after polytechnic will land you in the post of Assistant Manager and Manager later on in your career.
