Hi utkansh
If you are highly motivated, you have potential and you have confidence that you will crack JEE advance and main without getting distracted then yeah!! You must drop a year.

Because I have seen in many cases that students get distracted from their aim(many of my friends cleared their jee main with decent ranking, they dropped one year to improve their performance but they get distracted and didn't cleared their entrance)

So that's why I am saying this to you
You should know the pros. And cons. Also.

Totally depends on you. if you really want to try or you got stuck by few digits then give a try. Depends on your mind set, if you think dropping will make you enter better college then yeah, go for it . Else there. are many colleges out there which are very goodand you can tke admission and perform better.

Everything comes with advantage and disvantage, so take time , discuss with your teachers , judge yourself either you are capable or not .
