Hey there

It depends but as the new government medical Colleges have lower cutoffs so choise locking of new medical Colleges will make you sure about getting a government medical College of you have a good rank.

Check about neet counseling

Dear Asmita, there is no steadfast rule that new colleges will have lower cut offs. The competition for the seats remains the same. But what you can be sure of by selecting these colleges is infrastructure and faculty. MCC conducts a thorough inspection before giving a nod to any Medical College. And only the colleges that have proper infrastructure and faculty will be approved. MCI also looks at the faculty and lab services while giving a nod. So you can benefit from the faculty, lab services and infrastructure. Now because these colleges are still new, they would be associated with Government Hospitals of that region for outpatient and research services until they come up with their own colleges. Which means that your access to general outpatient will be limited. These are few things that need to be considered for long term benefits. So decide and take a call.
