If you wanna write advance , then it's not necessary to pass all the subjects, you have to score above the cutoff . All the best

there are required AIR rank according to total no. but if you do not qualify all subject then how you get good marks as well as rank also.
i think that is not compulsary that all qualify all subject but you would have to do it.
without qualify you cant get good rank. by only one subject, you cant get good marks.
