Yes you have to visit the reporting centre even if you want to upgrade your branch or college.

The upgradation option will be selected in the reporting centre only.

The officials will be giving you the upgradation form.

This upgradation form will be brought by the students in the next round if you want lock the college.

Yes it is necessary to report at reporting centres either you want a upgradation or freezing. Other wise you will be eliminated from the wbjee counselling.
