Unless and untill you have topped (secured 1st rank) in higher secondary exam (12th board) from a respective state board from science stream , except for giving BITSAT there is no other way to get admission, not possible to get admission in bits pilani.

One needs to take the BITSAT examination and fulfill the BITS Admissions eligibility criteria.

Admissions are done on the basis of score in BITSAT through BITS Counselling.

So as you can see it is impossible to get admission in BITS without giving BITSAT and just scoring 88.2 % in cbse. 

If one is a topper of his board then he can get direct admission is BITS PILANI.
