hi abhijit, you still have 5 months time and if you work smart, you can really score well easily, i will tell you how to prepare ideally, stay calm , cool and confident, dont panic or worry

Physics and chemistry- physics is considered one of the toughest subject for medical aspirants, but very interesting. choose any good book of your convinience, there are plenty of good books as many mentioned already. read the concepts thoroughly, understand them cover to cover, if you have doubts, clear them then and there. solve atleast 300 to 500 questions per chapter, check ,analyse and rectify your mistakes. solve again. the more you solve the merrier.initially you wont be getting many correct answers, but as you keep on doing am sure you will see your score rising. solve previous question papers too, hope this helps, good luck

If your grip on physics and Chemistry is good enough, practicing MCQs on a regular basis should help you sort out your purpose.
Your approach towards the subject also matters alot.
For a subject like physics, every question will demand a different approach and that bend in your logical comes only after timely practice. Take help of your mentors when you're facing difficulties in application of a particular concept. Paying attention in the classroom is another very important aspect because you happen to finish more than 50% of your preparation for that day in the classroom itself. Also, finish whatever you've studied in the classroom that very day itself. Practice and then practice some more. This is how you'll attain an edge in physics.
Topics like organic chemistry and physical chemistry are more than just applying concepts, there are alot of factual data as well that you might need. Prepare notes for the same so that revision becomes easier on the final day before your examination. Again, a good reference book and loads of practice is mandatory. Mechanism of reaction are diffcult to apply sometimes. Make sure you take all the help you need from your mentors because there is no other right time for you to get your doubts clarified.
Inorganic chemistry is more of a memory oriented subject where memory is needed. Make a note of all the exceptions in a particular period of elements or in a particular group of elements and also the reason behind those trends since this area happens to be a favorite among the paper setters.
Again, go through numerous questions so that you get an idea regarding the kind of questions that are asked from a seemingly simple piece of information.
Above everything, have faith in your preparation and believe in the fact that whatever you're doing today is being counted somewhere and you'll be rewarded accordingly.

Hello
If your basics and Physics and Chemistry I really not up to the mark than 5 months I don't think we'll be sufficient time for you to be performing with a good rank in NEET 2018
However you could try to perform better than what you think perhaps, buy getting things about organised, primarily in the form of knowing the major formula from each of the chapters in physics and noting them down a text book and going through some solved examples of sums of how to apply them
You need to dedicate about 5 to 6 hours a day behind the sun so that you can get some concept and try to school around 50 out of those 180 marks on physics
Lee special stress on Mechanics, optics, inductance and capacitance be circles from modern physics and electromagnetism
As of chemistry physical chemistry has to be studied in a similar approach as compared to Physics, with regular rehearsal of formulae and sums need with the approach of jotting down things in a copy
Organic chemistry is rather reaction sequences and proper know how of the logic of the technique of nomenclature and derivation of compounds in reaction sequences
Mythological inorganic chemistry is more or less learning and regular revision of important reactions and alloys compounds and balancing some ionic equations which again requires simple application of common sense more than concepts
What is the most important is try giving as Mini mock insecure examinations as possible within this period, so that you have a good idea of time management and can attempt the maximum number of questions in the span of 3 hours correctly leaving Behind Those questions which you I doubt full of answering correctly, which minimises your negative marks and ensures that you get the best possible marks and rank in the examination
Hope these ideas help
Thank you

Hello Tarun ,

As a dropper I also have gone through this difficulty to deal with physics and chemistry. Let me tell you how to get through this:

1. For chemistry,  you should just stick to NCERT and the coaching material plus book for solving MCQs. Remember, don't try to cover all topics just restrict to the topics that are really important and previously asked frequently. This will help you to revise it more easily and hence less tedency to forget pattern or formulas used in problems.
2. For physics,  it's also somewhat similar like you just have to cover topic by topic and then solving more problems given on previous papers.

Key is to asces your performance form time to time and work on whatever topics you are weak in.

Give more and more tests and then review that test again for resolving your mistakes etc.

If there are still any doubts about the related topic let me know in comments below.

Good luck
Thanks

Dear aspirant,
Thank you for asking your doubt.
Yes it possible physics n chemistry in 5 months for neet. Even i took a drop, so i do know the efforts required to get into race n win it. Let me guide you.
Physics is the most trickiest subject to master, and many students face problems. I will suggest you to start with kinematics, 2 3 questions are asked from this topic. Then proceed with laws of motion n other topics pertaining to mechanics. This will require 2 weeks. Then devote your attention to waves, and optics. Another one week you will require. Then in next three weeks do electrostatics n magnetism and emi. Next one week for modern physics. Thus by start of February you will complete physics . Revise the important topics again in February and then solve mock test papers in march n april.
For  chemistry,  put 3 days in a week for physical chemistry and another 3 days for organic chemistry. Daily revise inorganic , it will take you 1 n half month to complete chemistry. Revise important topics. Make flowchart and tables for organic chemistry.
Don't panic ,be confident in what your doing.
I hope my answer was helpful.
All the best with your preparation.
