Information Technology or M. Tech. IT is a program in which students study about software and hardware both, this program is structured for people looking forward to be IT professionals and to update their technical knowledge by making them familiar with the detailed study and research about the emerging technologies.In India, M.Tech degree is awarded after the successful completion of 2 years of study. Usually, students enters in M.Tech programme after completing 4-years undergraduate programme in engineering which results in awarding the B.Tech degree.
Duration of the course will be of 2 academic years consisting of 4 semesters, each of six months duration. At the end of each semester an examination of the courses covered in the semester will be held. This examination will be referred to as M.Tech.
