It is upon you, if you think that you can study for one more year the same study material then surely give it a shot, but if you think that you will not be able to stody the same syllabus again then taking admission in any college which you get will be the wiser choice.

It is approved by AICTE and also have NAAC accreditation. You can excel yourself in mechanical engineering. The college have good placement records. But if you are really interested for IIT, then you can drop a year and start preparing for JEE. You can join a top IIT by securing good rank in JEE ADVANCED.
