No, there is no official announcement about scrapping the state level entrance test. So, Karnataka CET 2018 will be conducted. KCET or Karnataka CET 2018 is expected to be held in the first week of May 2018.

Hi I think your question arose because of certain news regarding a common entrance exam for engineering just like NEET is for medical, but there were no actions taken in this regard, hence, all the engineering entrance exams are intact and will be conducted as they were, last year. KCET will probably be conducted in the first week of May by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).
