All states of new india is eligible for KVPY exam because it is not conducted by any particular state while it is conducted by department of science and technology of government of India aimed at encouraging students to participate in the reaserch areas.

The students who qualify KVPY are eligible for fellowship, students enrolled in 11th standard (science subjects) and having secured minimum of 75% in the mathematics and science.
