MASTER RESOURCE BOOK by D B Singh is a good book but to score well in the exam, You can not depend on single book only. The other books you can prefer for Physics are

Arihant is a good book but it is not enough for masters preparation. Your text is your Bible, always remember. Also there are various good publication books available in market like Companion, Oxford. Always consult as many books as you can. The bigger, the better.
