Foreign medical graduates may equally get career opportunities in India like Indian graduates, but the foreign medical graduates need to qualify an Examination. The Medical Council of India (MCI) is the governing body for medical education in India. It provides practice certificate to foreign medical graduates if they qualify the FMGE(Foreign Medical Graduates Examination). It is compulsory for foreign graduates to qualify this exam to start their practice in India. If you obtained your MBBS degree from these countries, you are not required to qualify MCI test.
