No subject is easy or hard , it all depends on your interest. You can find even 2+3  hard if you are not interested in maths , and even 241*45 easy if you are interested in it. Now coming to your question , mechanical is not a hard nut to crack . I have seen my friends getting 70+ percentage just by studying one night before the exam . So don't worry and go for it.

Dear aspirant

Every subject is difficult. There are no easy subjects in any field. But if you study the subject with interest then the become easy for you.

So if have interest in mechanics then your atuomatically the subject becomes easy for you. Mechanical ,CS ,Electronics , Electrical all are hard.

So if you have interest in mechanical then go for it.

It totally depends upon you and your subject interest that which subject or stream you like.
If you like mechanical engineering or have interest in it, then surely you will find it very easy. Otherwise if you have no interest and you don't want to study mechanical then it will become hard.

But generally, in engineering Field mechanical engineering is easiest of all other btech branches, but it also has a lot of competition as compared to other branches.
