MTG is a good book for Jee Main preparation. Theory and explanation given in the book is easy to understand. This book covers entire syllabus of NCERT. This book also has many multiple choice questions to solve. Apart from this, you can aslo prefer Organic Chemistry by OP Tandon, Concise Inorganic Chemistry by J D Lee. For organic chemistry, you need to understand the mechanism and reactions first. Then by writing those reactions again and again, you can get a good grip over them.
