Hi

NCERT is holy grail for NEET aspirants.

Especially for biology and chemistry.

When it comes to chemistry which is divided into three parts

  • Physical chemistry
  • Inorganic chemistry
  • Organic chemistry

Questions are similar to Intext questions and exercise. If concept is clear to you from NCERT then you can easily solve questions.

For inorganic chemistry, NCERT is more than enough, for physical chemistry and organic chemistry you can refer to other books for questions but basic concepts  can be learnt through NCERT only.

You must go through previous year questions to strengthen your base  and practice as much as you can.

Best of luck

Hello Arjun,

For particularly Chemistry subject NCERT is a must do for any sort of Entrance examination, for NEET a well versed NCERT will definitely provide you with an edge.

So you should study it well and my suggestion for you is that anything you can do additional with NCERT will be beneficial.

Depending only on NCERT might not be  the smartest option as NEET is a high competition Examination and students prepare with their best, so every extra piece of knowledge will enhance your examination experience.

Hope this helps,

All the best !
