Hello there,

NEET Difficulty and SCERT Books :

NEET is a competitive exam, and while SCERT books (State Council of Educational Research and Training) can help build a foundation, they may not be sufficient on their own for scoring high marks. NEET requires in-depth knowledge of subjects like Physics , Chemistry , and Biology at a higher level. You should ideally refer to NCERT textbooks , previous years' papers , and NEET-specific study materials for better preparation.

NEET Cutoff for MBBS in South India :

The NEET cutoff for MBBS seats varies depending on factors such as the category (General, OBC, SC, ST), the college , and the state . For top medical colleges in South India (like AIIMS , JIPMER , and state government colleges ), the cutoff can range from around 550 to 700 marks for general category students, while for reserved categories , it could be lower (around 400 to 500 marks ). Always check specific college cutoffs for the most accurate information.

Possibility of Scoring 300 in NEET with One Month of Practice :

If you score 300 marks in NEET after just 1 month of practice , it could be challenging to significantly improve unless you already have a strong foundation in the subjects. However, with focused and consistent practice on high-yield topics and important chapters, it is possible to improve your score in a month. Key strategies should include:

  1. Prioritize Important Topics : Focus on areas with high weightage like Biology , and Physical Chemistry .

  2. Take Mock Tests : Take as many mock tests as possible to familiarize yourself with the exam pattern and time management.

  3. Revise : Spend time revising key concepts and formulas, especially in Physics and Chemistry .

  4. Stay Consistent : Consistency and proper time management in the final month are crucial.

It’s tough, but with intense dedication, some improvement in score is possible.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

Hello,

NEET Difficulty and SCERT books :-

  • NEET is moderately difficult; NCERT is the primary source, but SCERT books alone may not be enough.
  • SCERT books help in concept clarity, but additional reference books and MCQ practice are needed.
  • NEET requires strong problem-solving skills in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
  • Mock tests and PYQs (Previous Year Questions) improve accuracy and time management.

Cutoff for MBBS in South India :-

  • Cutoff varies yearly based on difficulty, seats, and reservations.
  • Government colleges: 550+ marks for general, lower for reserved categories.
  • Private colleges: 300–500 marks based on state quota.

Repeating NEET and Improvement :-

  • One month is short for drastic improvement, but structured study can help.
  • A disciplined repeater can achieve 550+ with 6–12 months of practice.
  • Coaching, mock tests, and time management are key for better scores.

Hope it helps !
